Giorgia Cadeddu, born in Cagliari in 1981, is a self-taught illustrator with a great interest in nature. Her excellent knowledge of biology and natural sciences comes from a Ph.D in Evolutionary Biology and Biodiversity obtained in University of Turin. Her passion for drawing allowed her to apply a scientific method to the naturalistic illustration.

In 2015, she worked as project manager for a Monitoring of Amphibian Species within the SCI Monti del Gennargentu and Monte Arcosu, producing also a series of postcards with naturalistic illustrations for the educational workshops Zoumate (Assessorato della difesa dell’ambiente, Regione Autonoma Sardegna).

Currently she works and studies in Sweden with the awareness (and consolation) of having always the possibility to go back to Sardinia during holidays.
